Location of one time Kent's Hardware,  Anglican Church, Opera House and IOOF Hall.  When moving pictures came to Ladysmith it was the first theatre. When it burned down the property was converted to a public square.  When logging started in Ladysmith the first flagpole was placed here by Comox Logging.  Now the telephone exchange and parking lot.
