Welcome to the Gallery

The Historical Society gallery pages vary slightly from the main format. As well, if you have a newer computer or a movie player you can try our gallery slide show. Click here for the show, close the screens to return back here

The film strip down the right side can be scrolled through. Clicking on any image will bring it onto this part of the screen. The first group of images are from the Chronicle, so there will not be a great deal of detail. As you go down the filmstrip you will find much newer pictures. Most of them were contributed by private individuals and families. The Ray Knight collection is not highlighted here as we have a complete different section for that one. Please note, this is only a tiny segment of what we have. For more details and pictures please contact the Archives Office.

As we have not aquired rights to a lot of the photographs for Ladysmith we are using a number of pictures supplied to us by the Ladysmith Chronicle. We apologize for the quality, and assure you that as we get rights to more photographs the details will improve.
